Garforth Brass

Our Training Band

The training band performing on stage.
The training band performing at the Chairman's Charity Concert, October 2025.

Our training band provides free instruments, music and tuition to absolute beginners and players who are early in their brass band career. It acts as a stepping stone to further musical opportunities, giving players confidence to perform as part of an ensemble. Many of the players in our contesting band started playing in the training band.

Players of all ages and backgrounds are welcome. The training band currently rehearses on a Wednesday evening at Garforth Methodist Church, 18:30-19:20. If you or your child would like to join, please get in touch.
